Mark's Rescue Mark's Rescue is a no-kill animal rescue whose main focus is the rescue and care of abused and abandoned animals. They promise a simple adoption application process and for every adult cat adopted, you receive a free cat carrier. All of Mark's Rescue animals are spayed or neutered, current on their shots, wormed and current on flea control. Every cat and kitten is tested for Feline Aids and Leukemia. Peter Zippi Memorial Fund was founded in 1977 by Dr. Alice Villalobos in memory of Peter Zippi, a young man dedicated to the care of animals. We have adopted out over 14,000 pets (mostly cats) since then. The Fund is run by wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly to help those who can’t help themselves. The Fund offers shelter, medical treatment, and re-homing primarily for shelter cats, and as possible for the abandoned and homeless cats and kittens in the community; and provides spay/neuter financial assistance to the community.
